Railway passengers in India can now watch their food cooked live!

According to railway officials, the idea was proposed by the Union Railways Minister, Piyush Goyal, in a review meeting in order to ensure transparency and provide quality services to the passengers. The first step in this direction was taken on 4th July 2018 when Railway Board Chairman, Ashwani Lohani inaugurated the base kitchen in Noida that is known to cater to 12,000 meals per day to 17 Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto trains.
