Bestselling author Judy Blume is known for her revolutionary Young Adult novels. She was one of the first authors to bring up topics like menstruation, divorce, racism and masturbation in books targeted to a younger audience. Though her books were considered controversial, they have been popular amongst their target audience and remain popular to this day.
On August 3, 2018, the author sent out a tweet asking her followers/fans which book of hers they most wanted to see adapted to a movie. She clearly stated she was meeting people in L.A. with a movie in mind.
So which of my books, kids and/or adult would you want to see adapted for series or movie? I ask because I’m in LA meeting with many talented people. I think the time has come.

In most of the replies fans eagerly gushed that they would like to see all her books adapted and also named their favourites. As her books are usually read during the formative years, they tend to stay with the readers long after and she has gathered fans from across generations.
Tiger Eyes, was previously adapted into a movie as recently as 2012. It was directed by her son Lawrence Blume and had mostly positive reviews. It was one of her novels for slightly older readers however and dealt with change and loss. Maybe one of her books for younger readers will be adapted this time.
